We envision to connect schools, healthcare facilities, households, and businesses to improve the standard of living, quality of life and economic development opportunities in the Solomon Islands. OUR TECHNOLOGY
Solkonet uses Kacific broadband satellite technology manufactured by Boeing, and launched by SpaceX. Our affordable and reliable internet connectivity service is powered by a Kacific1, a next-generation geostationary satellite operating in the Ka-band frequency spectrum.
Kacific1 satellite streams low-cost, high-speed, reliable, and stable broadband via 56 powerful spot beams over 25 countries in Asia Pacific, across many islands, mountainous and rural regions.
